That's the way BB, glad you got them.

Glad you are enjoying the new gun.

Second what HS said, rare+ seared to medium rare doves are my favorite, once past that it loses the flavor I like.

Either with fresh thyme as the second or a little cayenne, separate those two. I do like them over real grits.
Good Lord, do you put carrots in your Beaufort stew as well??? You should be ashamed!! Fried or wrapped in bacon is the only acceptable way to go. You must be a damn Yank in part!!

Dove, pan-fried medium rare, over grits, with sausage and okra. It did not suck.

I like the doves. I prefer, just me, no sausage.. or anything that'll overpower the food that I'm there to appreciate. That's why I dont like most of the shrimp and grits dishes around. It's okay if you have frozen miscellaneous shrimp, if you must, but if I'm eating our locals.. they'll just be a mousseline

Congratulations. My only comment is that it's shooting doves, or a dove shoot. Congratulations too on not overcooking them. Not so much on the okra.
