Shot that field many times but never the vet hunt. Had some good shoots before but last few years have been very slow.

    Go thru the gate-
Any where on the powerline on your left

Or walk a 600-700 yards down the road towards the railroad track, the small clump of trees on the left before you cross the tracks(my favorite)

Or cross the tracks and hunt the field on the other side.

This is probably one of the best public fields in the state.

Good luck. Thank you for your service.

I've been trying to make this hunt for a number of years now but something always seemed to get in the way. I'd either have a miltary drill weekend to go to or the hunt would cancel for weather only to be rescheduled to another weekend that I couldn't make. It was always something.

Perhaps this is the year. Hope to see you there.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!
