I personally have never had an issue when using hot melt for inserts. But that’s my preferred method.

I use ACE brand hot melt and have never had an issue. I hate inserts that are epoxied or super glued in. Back in the day, we would have to time the broadhead and it was a pain in the ass with those inserts.

The hot melt that podium sells has been great for me with iron will hit inserts

Any issues with them pulling out in the bad cold? Like Ohio in January cold. I use golf club 2pt epoxy for HITs and insert iron for 1/2 outs and the others. That has been my only reservation with hot melt, I’ve heard mixed reviews when used in the cold but I have zero firsthand experience. I can barely knock hits out with a drill bit using slow cure epoxy.

No experience with them in bad cold. Coldest I've hunted with them is probably when the low that morning was in the high 20's
