So, I ate the fruit earlier. Feel human again. Just like that. Headed to West Marine to pick some stuff up they should have sent here. Why are boarding handles $450? I could get Rick and David to make one for $35...

No part a lie. I've been eating watermelon like it was my job here lately. I've been on the wagon for almost a year now but I ain't gonna not eat watermelon in the summer. I'd rather have it than ice cream....
Fact on the Blue Bell. Glenn is smoking grass and it's not bermuda or fescue.

Saw this thread about 2 weeks ago and thought, man I need to lose a few pounds. Keto seems complicated and I don't care to research it. I've done paleo in the past with good results, so I gave it a whirl.

On 7/22, I went paleo; meat, veggies, fruits & nuts only. I have made sure not to eat any bread, rice, potatoes, or sugar whatsoever or eat anything after 8:00pm. I try to not overeat, but honestly that's the hardest part for me. For the first week, I had an bad upset stomach and I was hungry a lot. I started out at 221.6 lbs on 7/22 and this morning (7/31) weighed in at 213.8. That's right at 8 lbs in 9 days. Gonna ride this thing out for 30 days and update. Goal is to get to and stay at 200 lb by the end of the year.

I exercise sporadically. Last summer I was jogging 3.5 mi 3 times a week. I stopped in November and between holidays and the wife's baking, I was up a belt notch. I've run a few times this summer, but not routinely. I have not exercised once during this last 9 days as I wanted to see what effect all that sugar and carbs was having on me. Now that I'm through the headaches and upset stomach, I will likely run today and Saturday (2-3 miles) and see what effect it has on my weight and hunger pains.

All these fad diets are just bullshit. Eat decent and exercise. It ain’t rocket science.

You might not be able to eat the sourdough bread and homemade cinnamon rolls anymore but tell her she can send some my way anytime!
