I like it here. There's no way I'd enjoy walking up hills, mountains even, then dealing with the cold. Everytime I watch some documentary or movie about crossing over those mountains, old mountain men tales I'm like screw that. If I had to be transported back I'd rather be some sort of privateer captain..

I have an ancestor who was the Governor of the Bahamas well before we were even a country. Got to ride around shwacking pirates and whoever else got out of line and needed to be schwacked. Nowadays, I am worried about people on golf carts running into me. "Progress"...

Forgot to mention….we were on the way into the park today and had a massive mountain lion cross the 4 lane road in front of us. Wish I could have gotten it on camera.

I loathe golf carts, all of then on paved roads.. ride through downtown Camden, it's like being on Jungle Road.. except you're caught behind reverse seating carts with kids dangling off like howler monkeys. But evidently we weren't raised good enough because we rode down highways in the backs of trucks. I bought a house back downtown not far from your family's old place. One of the first questions I got from an old friend is when I was getting a golf cart.. I have a couple, stay in the swamp, and I dont even like to ride them there.. you can't tell me it's easier to ride around town in a cart, lie to yourself but don't lie to me. My truck has ignition, ac, heat, goes faster.. I mean how lazy to you have to be to not close a door.

Yeah, my family spent a brief stint in Barbados after leaving Ireland, trading things before we set sail for Charleston...

What is worse, are these electric sickles. Little kids running 40 knots everywhere, all day...
