I agree with the sentiment, but wonder if what he's really referring to is that he (for some strange reason) thinks that Americans are actually going to want to pay attention to their health once they begin to see what they've really been eating. Heck, most of today's cell phones have health apps, don't they? I know I keep forgetting my iPhone does, but when I look at it I'm surprised at some of the info on it.

Our cellphones are constantly collecting data.
I just want to know why I get adds on my work computer for items I buy or search on my cell phone. I don't have my work email on my phone or my personal email on my computer.

They put one on me last year when I was having low blood sugar issues. It got me sorted right out. It's not like they will be mandatory, or a mini sireen will go off every time you eat a Wendy's triple...

Happens to me on every device I own. There is a computer linking everything we type to each other. The instagrams and the facebooks are the worst. Getting to the point if you even talk around an electronic device something similar to what you talk about will show up on a platform you frequent.

Yep, on see the hypocrisy. My health app says nothing. I never set it up. I know I’m overweight (working on that), know I don’t drink enough water (I try). Don’t always eat the best (try there too). Know I need to exercise more. I don’t need a monitor to tell me that. If the intent was to raise awareness so that everyone would be wearing one voluntarily, for their or their doctor’s use, then fine. If it is so someone else-government health watchdogs, mass data base collection, or to send me a message to not do something that does align with someone else’s determination about my health- the again, FUCK THAT.
Admittedly, I did not watch the video to try to determine one way or another.
Every time I click on one of those things I seem to get more solicitation to join some social media platform/ info gathering group.

Pull up your Google photos, scroll down to "pinned collections" and look at the "Map" feature. I was shocked that my pictures taken 70-80 miles offshore were pinned "Bible Belt". No cell service and phone in airplane mode to save battery. Everything we do is tracked the only way to avoid it is to completely unplug.
Elon Musk is way ahead of the game with satellite service, I believe he will take over the cell phone industry.

I do have a cell phone, I think I have 3 apps. I don't carry it on me all the time, now I don’t even really have to answer it. I don't have a computer as in laptop, desktop, or even a tablet. I don't even wear a watch. I'm in pretty solid shape.
