Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Gives me hope for my children's generation. That young man is no fool. My cynical mind, though, reminds me that other nations are far ahead in the game and don't hold the same motivations for developing this technology...

Every human and translated to every civilization is selfish. If I can manipulate the weather to give me more rainfall, then I can starve your crops. There’s only so much moisture in the atmosphere. If I can harvest it before it gets to you, that is environmental and economic warfare.
Conversely, if I can increase rainfall and manipulate the strength of storms, I can cause catastrophic damage to your infrastructure and economy.
As stated in the video, the US already tried to do it to Vietnam 50-60 yrs ago.
At some point, litigation will bring mineral rights to the skies above us, not just the ground below.
