Default Cross Country Car Shipment - FJ40

Need to get my FJ40 shipped from Greenville to Spokane. Went through the racket when we moved back in 2018 to get my wife’s car shipped and finally getting around to getting my landcruiser out. Don’t want to do what I dealt with last time with hundreds of spam calls, etc. Is there a better way?

Was running but hasn’t been driven in a few years.

Non running is going to be a bitch, nobody is gonna want to mess with it. You can’t get a non runner on and off an 18 wheeler.

I’d look for a hot shot driver.

I’ve shipped two from Washington state here, I’ll try and find who I used. Her name was Carla and she’s based in California. Good experience, but she’s nothing but a broker.

This guys name is Chris, he’s a hot shot driver. Comes to SC a good bit. He’s delivered some motorcycle stuff for me.

    You can try him.

I had an 75 Series shipped from Washington 5 years ago. Used a broker to find me a hotshot driver, I think it was around $1,500.

The 40 might make it cross country but the driver may never walk again.

If it can't make that little trip why would anybody want one in the first place?

    Not a bad idea.

This will give you an idea/ballpark. As noted before, not running will tack on a lot.

Thanks for all the info. Thought about driving or trailering it out myself but thought better on both.

Don’t think it’ll take much to get it back fired up and can work with my old man on that.
