Toyota 3.4 supercharger

Any of you installed or had a supercharger installed on a 3.4 Tacoma or 4Runner.

Curious about how much extra B.S. to make it run normal and reliable. I’ve read plenty of opinions on Tacomaworld, but those dudes can be a little crazy and overboard.

Biggest question is how hard is the tuning and what’s about needing the 7th injector mod.

A supercharger on a 4 runner and the guys on the website are overboard??!! What are you going to do drag race it or rip the fenders off mod it out and hill climb with the damn thing?

No racing. It’s struggling to pull our UTV at highway speeds. Couple times a year I need to pull 2 trailers to the same destination. Trying not to buy another truck as this is my sons and very mechanically sound. I’ll most likely Re-gear it first, but it’s cool to know there are other options out there.

Here is what I believe is the latest version.

$1k more gets a kit with 7th injector set up and a different fuel pump if I recall correctly.

Kinda steep price for a little gain. Like I said, looking for a little extra pulling a 4k lb trailer, not racing hector and his 3 civics.
