USC is losing too many players on defense to be pre-season top 10, offense will be good not great. Reasonable to have Clemson top 10 pre-season based on talent. After week 1 they will drop, then rise during ACC schedule before losing last game of season. Then again the ACC has no where to go but up.

Coots are solid, Beamer knows how to use the portal as well as anyone in the nation.
There were a lot of young defensive backs on that team and he did a much better job of rotating them in and out this past season
