Phil’s story has changed a lot of lives for sure

The man loves him some Jesus, family, and killing mallard ducks. Hate to hear that diagnosis, but he is going to be good...
He is the real deal..hope he can overcome that and enjoy the rest of his life.
At least I'm housebroken.
There is no overcoming Alzheimer's. My prayer is that he can comfortably live out his years while surrounded by his family.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Good people
God made a special man in Phil Robertson, proof that He can change lives.
Listen to your elders. Not because they are always right but because they have more experiences of being wrong.
"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give" Sir Winston Churchill
I’m starting to enjoy unashamed
"And ignoring people on here....that's like being home schooled. Just say you're not ready to face life." Highstrung
That he did
Heard this news and broke my heart. Have seen my Grandad die with it and not a pretty sight.
Makes you stop and wonder which is worse , bad health and very good mind or something like this but have very good health.
Our Mom died at 93 1/2, shocked she died since she was healthy but her mind was really going . That one was a blessing but she had a good long great life
My GrandDad was pitiful (brilliant man before that took over and also a Baptist Minister ) . Last time I saw him (he died when I was in college ) I got in my truck and prayed the Lord would take him home.
Prayers to this family and anyone going thru this
My Dad was the KRT of automobiles in our town when I was a kid,
Nascar engine builder for Hoss Ellington, carb work for Petty and others.
Took time to slip out of his shop and pick me up from school early during the week and take me hunting or trout fishing.
I eventually watched him not know who I was or know his Grandsons
It's hereditary and I fear it

^only the early type, or so i've been told. I cant wait to turn 60 so I will know i've dodged that one bullet, at least.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
I just lost my step father to it and that is one disease I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It is heartbreaking watching someone so full of life be transformed into an adult sized newborn. Prayers that he is comfortable while he is still coherent and that it’s a swift progression afterwards.
Phil is good people, lost my mother to that awful disease two yeas ago.
