I would hate to think I woke up every morning as angry as some of you. Gotta be rough on a fella.

Conference champions deserve to be in, period. Even more so nowadays where it’s the two best records in the conference and not a divisional setup where the two best teams in the conference might not have been playing.

SC has three losses. All three were to top ten teams at the time of the loss. BUT….2 of the losses were to teams ranked ahead of them in the playoff rankings. Good year, congrats, don’t lose three games next year.

Exactly. Although they are indeed one of the hottest teams in the country right now, there was no way they were gonna move Carolina ahead of Bama OR Ole Miss, based on head to head.

Whoever the #13 and 14 teams end up being, nobody will care. It's always going to be an argument on who the first couple of teams left out of any playoff are, putting more teams in just negates any argument those teams have. Wanna be in? Don't lose 3 games.....

SC should have been 12th with Ole Miss at 11th. Alabama should have been 13th and Miami 14th.
Also I think Clemson is better than Miami.....not sure about SMU.

I just hate political BS and playing favorites.

Ole Miss was shafted because of Kiffen bias. Everybody hates him.

And for some late breaking news......another Sellers signed today.

Y’all keep saying don’t lose 3 games but we are literally looking at a two, 3 loss teams potentially being in. Do the rankings matter or what? If the answer is no, then it’s time to stop with the college dynamic and go straight to a NFL farm system with contracts for all.

I don't care. The Cocks went in, beat them two times in a row in DV. As Beamer stated, "we are ascending." Cocks needed to win one of 3 to get in, most know LSU was an injustice, but that's water under the bridge.

Now, it's time to compete for SEC championships and not allow Clemson to be a season highlight. We have now, the top 3 QB in CFB.

That will draw some great recruits offensively. The future is bright, Clemson is in ACC, a whole different world.

You lost to the two other 3 loss teams that are in the conversation....

Big win for Clemson. Makes the acc/sec challenge closer now at 1-9.

    LOL at Catdaddy...

I just don't understand why there is any human element to this at all? Committee this, committee that. Weight everything out. Record win/loss, win/loss against ranked teams, win/loss against teams ranked ahead of you, win/loss against unranked teams and strength of schedule. There may be a few other things to consider, but if you start with a weighted format and enter in the data, the rankings will take care of itself. Remove the human element outside of how things will be weighted. This isn't that hard, but we let in the humans and political bias takes over.

No three loss team should be in, but here we are.

Control what you can control. You can't control the rankings as a bubble team. You can control the stupid penalties against LSU and not sealing the deal against Bama. Win one of those and it's not a debate.

    Oh and Fuck Clemson.
This. Whether you think the call was awful, and it was, you can't blow a 17 point lead even if your QB1 gets hurt. You can't fumble against Bama and you damn sure can't throw the 2pt conversion into the next zip code. That said at the beginning of the season if you had told any Carolina fan they would be 9-3 with double digit wins over A&M and Oklahoma and win the Clemson game we all would have been thrilled to damn death. Carolina has a good story to tell to portal guys given the success of Kennard, Knight, and Rocket to name a few. Looks like they flipped a few guys to sign today as well. Hopefully they can build on the momentum from this season.

And I hope Clemson beats the brakes off SMU.
