Yes. They are still picking up. Dont think FEMA is in charge of it though. Believe the state contracted that work out, not FEMA

Debris removal is done by local government or approved contractors. The county/municipality provides FEMA with estimates for the total amount of debris for removal and requests reimbursement from disaster relief funds. If you still have piles either the locals didn’t submit paperwork on time/correctly or the Feds have run out of funding and are waiting on new allocations from congress.
You need to get on the phone and be the squeaky wheel at this point.

There are piles all over the upstate still and I still see the double trailers everywhere still out picking them up. It's possible there's just that much crap to be picked up. To the OP, call Greer city today and ask 'em.

My wife cornered them last week. In Spartanburg they are getting main roads/streets first then coming back to secondaries. This includes neighborhoods. The main road thru our neighborhood is clear, side streets are not. Weekly updates say most up by Christmas but clean up will continue into new year

I only have a pear tree that blew over..that's it. Not much concern and I will probably just burn it now that it has been cut. A buddy came and got the big pieces of the tree to cure and plane into boards for some kind of wood working project. Making do, I reckon.

The crews I've seen are doing a half ass job at best. they were working up the road from where I live and they left limbs all over the road for several miles.
