    This is the age of HR departments, thats where the vetting happens.

    Hiring comes by way of “who does the job candidate know in the hiring office” or in other words, who is his sorrority brother

    That’s what’s wrong with the whole country today. So much emphasis has been put on degrees, we “cant” even hire a decent land manager. Assuming your resume is accurate, you are probably better suited than the previous 10 managers.
