I’ve got almost 20 years experience managing land (plantations) from the coast to the midlands. I can run any piece of farm equipment and most heavy equipment with proficiency, I’ve been a part of several major wetland restoration projects and led a few. I don’t have a college degree so my resume would likely be tossed aside. 10 years ago I applied and was actually successful in getting an interview for a Tech job at Santee Coastal. They told me point blank “your experience looks great but you don’t have a degree”.
