Default Toyota iForce 3.4 V6 Experience?

Does anyone have a “newer” Tundra with the iForce V6?

If so, how do you like the engine? Do you tow anything? What real world mpg numbers you get? What don’t you like?!

I have one. I get just under 20 mpg. It has PLENTY of pickup, more than my old V-8 had. In fact, the truck rides so smoothly that it's really easy to find yourself speeding excessively. I use the radar tracking cruise control almost all the time. I love that feature.

I've only towed a small flats boat and a utility trailer with a UTV. I couldn't tell they were behind me. I didn't see a drastic decrease in mpg with either. My old Tundra would suck gas with even a lightweight empty trailer behind me.

I did not get the hybrid, electric assist version that is supposed to be even better for towing.

Well, that's a new term... Never heard of such a thing.

Thanks for the info Palmetto. The only thing I’d be towing is a 21’ Parker or a 20’ jonboat. Worst would be ~65% of the rated towing weight.
