    Default Need a guide...

Figured I'd ask here before going the Google route. Might be longshot, but I'll be flying in to Boise on the 19th but have a gap that allows me to hopefully squeeze in a duck hunt on Sunday Oct 20th. Might have another day or two later in the week also.

Anyone know a guide in that neck of the woods who can accommodate?

    Thanks in advance.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

What is it that you want to hunt? There's a broad scope of things out there and most of the ones I know are chasing elk at the moment.

Being in "The Cyber Duck Blind Forum" I'd assume waterfowl

    You never know around here.

I already reached out to my guy about ducks based on the location of the thread. Best professional lesson I've ever learned is "trust but verify".

I don't believe waterfowl guiding is allowed at all in Idaho

Waterfowl, sorry BB. Season opens this Saturday in most zones.

Got a hold of one dude and he's booked solid.

I wish that applied to all 50 states

ETA. Find an outfitter to take you to shoot pigeons at a feedlot. It is like doves down south but in an English speaking country.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
