Surf fishing is under-rated.

I agree. Never used to fool with it, but it's become our summer vacation daily routine. Cold drinks and always have something to watch with the rods out. Kids and us old dads running to grab em. Good fun always. My brother in law goes down several times a year just to surf fish by himself or with his girls. He turned me onto it. I used to look down my nose at what I figured was mostly folks from Ohio doing so .

LOL. If I'm going to sand in my shorts, I'm going to catch a fish doing it

Seriously though, it's hard to be beat catch bull reds in the surf late Oct - Nov. It's pretty dang fun without the hassle of cleaning a boat afterwards.

Wish I had seen this thread sooner. Fished sat sun mon. Sat was one of the best days Ive ever had down there. Every day was really good. Reds and trout were good. A few flounder. Seems to be more black drum and sheeps around than a good while though.

And in reference to the big gals......they're there.
