It’s a whirlpool. Freezer is cold and not too frozen over but fridge is warm. The evaporator fan doesn’t seem to be coming on. Is it just the fan motor or something else causing the fan not to cut on? What say ye?

If you give 10 people a bag of gold, someone will complain about how heavy it is!
I pulled up a post from awhile back apparently with the same issue. I believe it ended up being the defrost timer. The fan was working intermittently last time, but i imagine that was after it thawed. I’ll still take any suggestions before having to haul this thing off and buy a new one.

Unplug and let completely thaw out. Plug back up. I had same problem. Something made it freeze up. Maybe overloading.
Thinking it could be the defrost thermostat if I’m remembering correctly.
