    Default 2014 Explorer Sunroof Issue

Daughters car. Said she didn't open it, but it's stuck open about 8" and nothing will work. I tend to believe that she didn't do it because the screen didn't retract which always happens when you open the roof. Regardless it was rained in the past few days. She's a college student so I'd like to try and figure this out before she heads back to school at some point next week. Any ideas besides the fuses?

I just did a quick search and found this. If that doesn’t help, lots of other videos on sunroof problems for around that year.

Yeah. I've looked at a few videos. Fuse is good which means is probably the motor or switch. Still not sure how it opened. Guess it's going somewhere to be fixed.

It’s the motor. They like the Yotas get full of water where the connector plugs into. Relatively easy to get to that and check.
    More fuel = more boost!!

Thanks Kevin. Figured as much after watching some videos.
