Big slash and cedar got blown down at 0445. Was in the recliner sleepless. Water rolled in until 0545. Just made it into my crawl space. Pretty wild! Not interested in it again. Say that every time....

I know. I started to text you when I saw it. Instead I put it here. I'm just down the road if you need me to go up there. You got my number.

That shot of Chimney Rock is unreal. I spent alot of time on Lure at a
friend's house in the 70-90's. We camped near there a couple of years ago. Hate to see that.

If anyone needs anything please let me know. Have boats, generators, chainsaws etc at the beach. What’s mine is yours.

Anyone in or know somebody in the vicinity of Spruce Pine or Sugar Grove NC? Have a Coworker here in Chas. Who cannot get in touch with family there. Don’t have any information but thought I would shoot one on the wall here. No special trips necessary. Coworker just starting to get a little concerned with no contact from them yet. TIA. SD

I heard from my cousin in Banner Elk. The road in front of her house is gone. They won’t be able to get their car out until they build a new road. Banner Elk is cut off from the rest of the world.
