    Wild looking buck. Congrats!

Any evidence of where he was wounded? No infection? He certainly looks healthy otherwise.

    Good deer brother!

213 lbs makes me think he may be older than 4, unless there’s plenty of food and the bucks get fat in that area

Nothing but the scars from being shot in the neck last year. The shed I found had about 2 inches of skull broke off on it and was covered in green pus.

A lot of soybeans in the area and a 2 year old cutover full of good browse he spent the summer in. 190-200 is pretty common for this area but he was the heaviest I've killed off my farm.

That's even more interesting. He was wounded with a rifle, then? Do you know what round? Shot placement? I've only had one neck shot with a rifle that baffled me, with a .224 bullet. Not trying to derail, I've always found irregular antlers, and those that are caused by injuries, way more interesting than perfectly symmetrical antlers.

I'm not sure but it was low in the neck above his brisket. Entrance and exit holes were about 6 inches apart. He seemed perfectly healthy other than that.

Another nice one, love to get a buck that has history and character, this one has both. Congrats, youngun.
