Yep but mostly because he had laid in the ditch overnight after having his pelvis smashed at 60 mph. I do think something is starting to happen, though. This guy came out of a wall of brush but seemed to be on the trail of something. I didn't seem him until he was centered in the headlights. I've had to go to Columbia that past two days and am seeing a lot of dead deer on the side of the road, all the sudden.

Not what my insurance guy said. My wife said something to the effect that it's pretty amazing that I made it this long before hitting one with the car.

I think I was very lucky - I haven't talked to the body shop yet but it looks like a fog light and 8 or 9 snap-in body panels and it'll be fixed. All the "systems" are working including the upfront radar. From the driver's seat, I can't even tell it happened.

When you posted a picture like this I knew something was off…
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965

I saw one chasing last week. I would bet it starts early this year.

They didn’t want to hurt your feelings and yes it was a compliment on the art work you post when you do hunt!!

I, too, was surprised when I saw the pic. It’s not like you’re Duck Cutter.
