More distressing is that the SchMets have won 5 straight and are .5 behind us...

I'm about to hang up any hope for post season play at this point.

We watched, we saw it and still don't know how he came up with that ball. Amazing

swampknob would've taken Sale out and Harris wouldn't have made that great catch.

Sale has really played well. One of the few bright spots. I see Morton on the bump tonight and I start wondering how i'm gonna kill time this evening....

I turned off the game and went to bed confident that we would pick up ground on the Phils as they were losing . Then Schwarber hit his third HR of the night- a 3 run shot to win.

Swampknob would've thrown Sale against the Phillies in the 4 game series and not against the second worst team in all of baseball.

It’s September; also known as “when the Phillies turn into the ‘27 Yankees”.

    i got more...

Kelenic with the dinger. Morton didnt suck total ass. Soler actually hit a baseball and is now 4 for a bazillion.

Pegula beat Swiatek. Had no clue she was daughter of Bills owners.

Well, the end is near. Couple games in DC , then the Dodgers come to Aaron/ Cox field this weekend. That should finish the Braves off.

The good news is,if they keep this up it will save me the price of playoff tickets, a motel in Atlanta and having to drive in Atlanta.

    we are world beaters again.
Hope Lopez is OK. Hard not to like Chavez, though.
I think Olson is the one seeing the ball well and its maybe sort of rubbing off on others.
I am still pretending not to care.

I haven’t watched a game this week. We’ve been busy with fall ball, deer hunting, and business planning.

I saw we were one game back yesterday of the Mets. Sliver of hope still shines.

    Go bravos.

    well, we suck again.

I just cant figure Fried out. Granted, he had a couple of poorly hit balls go for singles but he's just not as sharp as he has been in previous years. Sale has been incredibly fun to watch this year, though.

But I am still pretending not to care.

Fried can go ahead and head to the Dodgers.

Chris Sale is in the running for the Cy Young and deserves it .
