Default So a yellow jacket crawled into the barrel of an unloaded Red Ryder bb gun, and......

....I just happened to witness the event. I was certain it had not been cocked previously, but I hoped for the best and pressed the safety off, all the while it was leaning against the corner of the porch railing....pulled the trigger and.....

    Nothing....

So, as my wife sat off to my side, immersed in the antics of the resident hummingbirds buzzing around our porch, I slowly pulled the lever up, then eased it back down into "battery" without rousting the intruder from his new-found cavern, and slipped my finger into the trigger guard and gave er a yank!!!!

The resulting carnage was minimal but satisfying. My wife gave out a WTF shreik at the all too familiar sound of the Red Ryder going off without her consent , yellowjacket guts spread from the corner post, to the siding, then up and over my shoulder(never did find the body).

Then we continued to sit for another hour being harassed by dumbass yellowjackets that didn't want to crawl into the barrel of my Red Ryder bb gun....

I just feel lucky to have been on earth during the same period of time this occurred.

This is HOF or GOAT stuff right here. We need a sub-thread for these antics.

The only thing more fun than killing bees with a BB gun is shooting flies in the house with a salt gun.

I have to tell the kids constantly to, "Leave the door open! Let some flies in!"

    Are you for hire?

Had a kid at baseball practice get lit up when they found out the L screen had a nest in one of the tubes for the legs ... I need the John Wick of bee killing, if I can afford it.
