Thanks, Turbo, for having my back. I am blessed to call you a friend. Strangely enough, I consider FISH and DT friends, too.
and we dont have to agree on everything, and I liked DT more before he became a politician. Maybe that's the point here. What is it about government that has made us distrust it? I really think a lot of you 1% people are hypocrites. You say you dont trust a damn thing but yet you use the government and its entities all the time. Its like saying FUCK CHINA and using things made there. Its kind of an empty stance.

and I'll be honest. I'm not exactly sure how to answer the question. Do I trust what a politician says? Not often. Do i trust the government is "transparent?" Not likely.

Much like saying "always" or "never", I would probably vote 50% to leave my options open.

I believe you would be very disappointed to know how many “sheepdogs” are firmly latched to the government tit and anxiously await the first of the month so they can buy more Nile Line and Grunt Style T shirts.

Government is a lot like every other entity out there, there are good people in it who generally want to help and serve the people/client and others who don't give a shit about anyone and are marking time and collecting paychecks/benefits. Politicians aren't the government by and large, just a part of it. Do I trust the government, for the most part yes. I've never had a single issue when I do my part and play by the rules they set forth. Do I believe taxation is theft, you bet but I still pay what I HAVE to pay after I find every loophole I can. As a business owner did I take advantage of the COVID loans, you bet, who wouldn't to get operating capital at a low rate. Have I paid it back, every cent. Do I trust the military, first responders, organizations helping others, yep. Do I trust politicians, hell no because I haven't seen one yet that actually did what they said they were going to do nor created more problems than they solved. Do I like FEMA, nope but I've learned to deal with them and what they are trying to do. When Emily was diagnosed with GBM, one of the most helpful people we had was a lady in the SS office who helped expedite the SSDI payments after she could no longer work through a special program for terminally ill people. She also went above and beyond to make sure the boys continued to receive the survivor benefits they are entitled to. Government is a necessary entity, inept at times, corrupt in many areas but does more good than harm overall.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Oh I know I would be. In the 1770's they say 10%, that number might be 2-4% now.

I'd go 1-2%. Heard a stat on a podcast the other day from one of the gun lobby groups that 90% of bought fire arms are never shot. Of the 10% that are fired after purchase more than half of those are shot once and closeted "for protection".

I asked a question a while back "how often do you practice with your concealed carry/EDC gun?' and the answers supported that 90-95% stat above.

For anyone who has any trust in politicians, and particularly the Democrats, here’s a prime example of their strategies to manipulate their followers…

The mere fact that supposedly intelligent, educated southern men view this topic as a point of discussion is the problem.

That is not exclusive to Democrats. Politicians are about winning. The people running office may not be directly involved, but you can guarantee those running campaigns and PACs are doing the dirty work.

We see what England's government is doing to it's people. To think that all the little socialist losers in our government aren't hoping to follow suit here is simply nuts...

Pelosi is 100% responsible for this inflation. Biden signed off on every spending bill she sent to him.

She is not very good at the smear or wrap up smear cause everyone know she is lying when ever she opens her mouth. All that hand waving is annoying as hell and stupid too.
