Well I’m on the other side. I’ve had enough light weight coolers blow out the back of my truck to have paid for a yeti. So I’m looking for durability and something that won’t blow out when empty.

Say what you want but even I can not tear up a damn Yeti.

Got a 75Q that wife got me right when they first came. Sucker has spent life on my boat, back of my truck sitting on back porch , back of SXS and everything else and still is going strong. Hell sitting in front of garage door in driveway now.

Use a 45 under leaning post in my boat and wife has smaller one for beach and pool stuff.

Had RTIC soft sided cooler for beach stuff years ago, Son in Law now has it and bless his heart he could tear up a steel anvil but that RTIC is still going strong . I am just not a fan of soft sided coolers

Got several Igloos under house and every one lid is broken off , next yard sale going to get rid of them

But that being said still got my OLD TRUSY Igloo Playmate for when we use to go to WINSTON CUP races. As my late buddy would say “Sucker holds 24 beers NO ICE”. Those were the “Yeti’s of their day”.

I've got a 50ish qt K2 that I've had for 10+ years. It was originally white but has quite a few stains now. Durable and I can't imagine anything holds ice any better. I've had a bookoodle of soft sided yetis, only one which had been purchased. Good for when you need to carry. The zippers tear up every couple years and they still honor the warranty. Luckily I know a dealer so I think that has helped on many of those transactions.

    Default RTIC Coolers

I’ve had this one for 2 years and it holds ice as well as our yeti.

I did take the factory handles off and made my own.

Looks exactly like the one linked in the Walmart ad for $88 vs $149.

I'd say Yeti, Rtic, Engel heaviest to lightest.
