Man, I just saw the boat name. I dig it. It's right up my alley.
    Gotta rename a boat though.

Boat yard is gonna love you long time. Looks good, that’s gonna be a classy ride. What’s in it for power and what’s expected cruise?

There were so many coats of paint on the bridge that it peeled up in thick sheets.

For the purposes of this thread and boat, normal boatyard repair costs and general expenses do not apply. The only thing that’s still stupid is dockage in Charleston.

This is an old fishing boat. It is not a yacht. I can’t afford a yacht and I don’t want a yacht. The seller is a boat builder. His work on behalf of this project is driven largely by his personal connection to this boat. As a result, the work is being done at his cost. And thats how this deal came to be. He flew into town on Thursday just to give us an update on progress and talk about how he wants to rework the cabinets, valance, and trim in the salon.

The previous owner had the boat in Puerto Rico for many years and it was called Amigo. The seller renamed it Bump & Run, and then renamed it Wallaby, the original name. And it will remain the Wallaby.

The engines are Cummins VT903s. They sound like a blue marlin bite.

Sweet deal and you are going to have a hell of a billfish raising boat.

That is a big undertaking but you will have a really BADASS Boat when you get done.

This is a link to a short clip of the forward bilge. The wood triangles were in bad shape and they were reworked with hard epoxy.

This is what it looked like before.

It's going to be really nice knowing every inch of your boat and what's been done to it.
What is the timeline you expect to have it all completed?
