    GREENVILLE, S.C. —
A tropical development in the Gulf has a high chance of strengthening before impacting the Upstate later in the week.

Invest-91 is in the Gulf of Mexico as of Sunday morning and has a 70% chance of strengthening into a tropical depression within the next 48 hours as it heads north.

The remnants of the tropical system will head our way by this weekend bringing rain to the Upstate as early as Thursday. The rain amounts will likely change so stay tuned as we continue to monitor the local impact of this development.

3-5 inches last week depending on where you are and this coming through this week. Looks like a very short year logging off-road.

Our system has stalled out in NEA. For the first time in years it looks like we may get a chance to have some waste grain in the fields. It won’t be enough to stop farmers from harvest but with any luck will stop them from being able to prep the fields. Just need to keep getting some rains.

Ed’s saying Awendaw/McV now. Raining pretty steady and starting to blow some.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
