Any way this rain could be beneficial by killing the sunflowers?

Nothing about this is beneficial to any sort of hunting scenario.

Thank god for pigweed. Holds up my sunflowers nicely during tropical events. My field is a pants no shorts kind of field

Ha, I shot in the center of our field during the first season, one time, in shorts, when pigweed made it's entrance. Not again, I sit my happy ass at the end of the power line away from everything.

I'm happy to say, in the last 20 years, I haven't had one pigweed plant in my fields.

I always try to ensure Cali and Rebel Yell get a little in their dove bucket and vest in effort to spread the love. So far it hasn't worked... They strip at the dock and burn all their gear I think.

This morning the power lines coming to my house were loaded with doves. Probably a couple of hundred....The power line comes down my driveway next to the dove field. I can monitor the field from a rocker on my front porch. I haven't bush hogged anything yet.

Smart move... Never trust SC weather... there is always a tropical event the week before the season.

I do not know this guy and have no connection to him. If you have fields too wet to get equipment in, you may want to give him a call.
