Where's the link? I couldn't find the new rules online
"Hunt today to kill tomorrow." - Ron Jolly
I'd say the morning thing is a misprint. Dates for ducks are : "Nov. 23 - Nopv. 30" (sic)
So I'd say they are still fine tuning that table.

It was a misprint. Mornings only September 2nd-4th

Would be interesting if it weren't a typo.
How many people would hunt the morning instead? How many would hold to the tradition of an afternoon shoot?
The point is moot for most in my area. Been too dry for too long.
"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." John 15:12
"Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14
The link copied and pasted was 2024.
What happens after that, I cannot control.

The dates you posted align perfectly with the 2023 season dates.

The website has been updated with 2024 dates. shooting hours are 30 mins before sunrise. Monday Sept 2nd is the opener
TPRICE above read it the way I read it..........SO, If I read the new regulations correctly, we can hunt doves, opening day in the morning?????????????????
Do we finally get to beat the heat? Is it a misprint?
The "afternoons only" wording is missing from the 2024-2025 book.

I can confirm. A gamewarden buddy of mine told me this about a month ago. He said they got an email about it but it wasn’t public knowledge yet.
I guess they calculate that the overall lower number of people hunting on a Monday versus a Saturday for the opener mitigates the double limit issue that afternoon-only was meant to address.
I really prefer afternoon hunts but the damn afternoon heat sure makes it miserable and downright dangerous for dogs. I'll probably make my decision a few days before to see what the weather forecast looks like.
