Tell me why milk is bad for me. Not opinion. Real data. Also, tell me what you think of the food pyramid. How about cholesterol?

    6 cubes of ice
    8oz almond milk
    Scoop of chocolate protein
    Raw egg
Big spoon of aldi smooth peanut butter
    Half a banana

Enjoy. Not sure how much of anything is it bc I'm not a nerd but it tastes good and it makes you feel like you're "eating healthy".

I unapologetically mix my proteins with almond milk on the reg.

The raw egg and some PB Fit in a blender with it takes it to the next level.

--Milk is for a baby cow
--There is NOTHING in milk that you need to get from milk. Vit D and calcium? Dont go there....
--Milk has NOTHING to do with your child's teeth and bone growth.
--Milk makes cheese and ice cream.

My wife has PB powder. I have no idea what she does with it. She makes her own peanut butter.

I think the point my brother is making is that he wants food to give him nutrients, not joy. I understand that's weird as fuck and I'm ok with it. He does not do powders or supplements or any of that. He eats whole foods. He is very confident in his stance that milk is not part of his diet. It is worthless to him.

Cholesterol and food pyramid? I have no clue.

2/3rds of respondents are not gullible.
    Drink that.

Your brother is not to be trusted.

He's been on podcasts. Ergo, pseudo science at best. I heard that from a dentist one time.

I haven't eaten anything but meat and cheese for a month, knowing I will have to add in 2th's brother's nasty assed kale smoothies in a few weeks. Gross, but it does work...

Don’t go where, gully? I never said anything about vitamins. Where did you come up with that nonsense? My use of milk is all about protein, fat, and calories. I drank 5 gallons since last Saturday.

So toof's brother is the yin and Paul Saladino is the yang?

My gut tells me kale is bad. It looks almost the same coming out as it went in. Cows have 4 stomachs to digest that and make something of it. I am no doctor nor pretend to be one but there certainly seem to be a lot of people out there saying carnivore style diets have improved their quality of life (diabetes/insulin resistance, arthritis, autoimmune disorders, etc) to ignore it and write it off. The tough thing for modern medicine is it is totally counter to what has been pushed for the past 40-50 years (i.e. statins, seed oils, low fat, lower meat consumption, etc).

I do agree with toof's brother that we should eat whole foods, forget anything that came from a processing plant. The issue with deriving all of your nutrients from plants today is the nutrient composition of those greens and fruits vs. those grown pre agricultural revolution. If you can stand to listen to an Aussie, Graeme Sait has a fascinating podcast about regenerative ag and nutrients both for crop production and the crop itself.
