I carry an Astra 4" .357 revolver I bought from a friend in college. $100. It was his grandfather's, but he was from Belton, so it was probably stolen. It's beat up and cheap enough that I don't worry about even when I've gone swimming with it (fell in). I carry it on a chest holster under my waders more than in the woods. Same with boat ramps. It's for 2 legged pests more than 4.

Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight (vintage)
The Model 37 is the "Airweight" version of the Model 36
This one is a rare 1973 factory nickel finish, mirror like polished.
The finish is near perfect, any blemishes are just glare from the lights
I have the original wood grips as well as a pair of pearl for it.
I've owned this one for a long time and several other S&W revolvers.
I like the older "pinned" barrel stuff and the Performance Shop stuff
I carry this one every once in awhile in the swamp with CCI Snake/Rat shot and when fishing up the creeks
    I'm looking a snubby .357

I carry a 1911 with snake shot in the pipe. If I need more than one load of snake shot, I must be in a Pentecostal church.

I carry whatever that day's mood indicates...........With deer season coming in Thursday I will start carrying caliber that starts with 4.......A 44 mag or 45 long Colt......For kicks and giggles I sometimes carry a 10mm semi or revolver
