Default Great day with 9yr old grandson

Last year Cason got his first red. Yesterday bait was hard to find but did end up with small red and croaker.

We took BIL and Nephew today, found bait fairly quickly but still scattered but had enough for the outgoing tide bite

Before tide started moving Cason got his first red, nice 29”. Had him on fairly light tackle and he had a blast

Ended the day with him catching 4 reds(all between 27”-30 1/2”) . I did pick up one 16” trout on popping cork while we were waiting on bites and nephew had a 20 min or so battle with big ray we chased with boat all over creek

NOTHING better than watching grandson having a ball catching those fish today, the “fish gods” made Papa T look like a great guide today
