Sold- 2004 Dodge Ram 4X4

I tried to sell this truck in the Trading Post last September for $7400. There were no takers so I decided to keep it as a 2nd truck.
The insurance company "bought it" today for $7135.

Original owner, solid truck, in great mechanical shape. Hood bashed in but opens easily. Front passenger door and glass bashed in, but door opens easily. Cranks and drives just fine.
Damn shame it's going to the junk yard tomorrow.

Listed 6 months ago for $7400 with room for a counter offer in a private party sale.
My target value for the claim settlement ws $7200. $7135 was an acceptable offer IMO.

And no, my rates will not go up for a Comprehensive claim.

Any other old Joe would have gotten thrown $1000, spent three months fighting it, and still only ended up with $2000.
