Time flies. My daughter is 25 now. Works 2 jobs. Car she paid for in full. Money in the bank. I couldn't be more proud. She travels with me when I go to tournaments out of state. We drove together to Illinois last year for a tournament and then to Birmingham for a work conference over a period of a week. She won't appreciate the value of that time together until many years from now. But I do. We have a special bond. I'm the first person she calls when she gets into a bind. Why? Because she knows I will fix the problem.

Good stuff Gene. My little girl is eleven weeks old yesterday. I'm always looking forward to tomorrow and holding onto today.

You've got a full cup, for sure. We all do when we take the time to notice it.

I'm sending my 3 to y'all to finish raising. I can't see me doing a better job than y'all have.

My oldest daughter will be a sophomore at AU this fall. My wife thinks my relationship with her is very similar to Tim McGraw and his daughter in the series 1883. I can "dig" that for sure. My other daughter will be a senior in high school this year. Time flies for sure and it will pass you by if you're not paying attention.

The quote “The days are long but the years are short” is hitting home around here lately. Brady is in MT and Ryan will be a senior this year. Shewee

Congratulations. Enjoy every day but with the understanding that she will marry her dad. You will set the standard. It's a lot of pressure. You can't screw up even once.

I absolutely adore my son-in-law. You can do this.

My daughter had my heart since day 1.....30 years later she and her husband have blessed us with 3 grands.

Every day I am humbled by the blessings God has bestowed on our family. You are blessed too Gene.
