Here are some updated pics from the last round of food plots. Everything seemed to do well. I regret not staggering the rows. Oats and beans then clover etc. All these plots were no till that was sprayed shortly before planting.
The rows that seem to stop then pick back up was due to the seed drop stopping up. I have since replaced a few. The one pic where the food looks way thicker is where we went ahead and made a few more passes to empty the drill. Hopefully with some lime and fertilizer, these plots will look better next year.

Do some side by side comparison to tilled vs non-tilled and you will see the difference. Small grains and brassicas will thrive more. Your plots are becoming more compacted with each pass across them.
And there is no cost savings, a gallon of diesel does a lot of work.
Any idea how it would do in rocky clay ground?
