Quality over Quantity

Last week was tough fishing for us.

The family and I spent last week at our camp down east. We covered a lot of water and tried almost everything in the tackle bag, even resorting to soaking cut bait at the end of the week. A couple of hours of that only resulted in 2 skates.

Each day we were in the single digits and usually only 1 good fish. Mine was a citation trout (6.5#, 27”) and my son’s was a nice striper. Too bad the striper is as rare as a NC flounder…
