Yeah. My grandmother’s side of the family lived at the brick house. Carter’s and Pitts.

So,
I have a survey map of greenwood from 1898 and it sits on the coffee table in my living room.
I glanced at it the other day to see if I saw any Carters or Pitts on there around epworth. Their name is not listed on the map but the brick house is.
I’m assuming since you referred to it as the brick house and it’s listed on the map that way that years ago it must have been used as a landmark.
Any idea what the current road name is where the brick house would have been?
126 years later and a lot of the family names are still the same down in that area as things haven’t changed much. I know where a lot of landmarks on that map (especially that area of the county) are but the brick house eludes me
