Dan Brothers (Log Cabin Stainers) and his wife have stained ours 2x now. They do a great job and travel across the state. Not the cheapest but they do a good job. Tell him Heath Corley from Lexington passed on his # 803-348-1949. This is mine after the 2nd staining in May 2023.

that looks real nice!
What do you do to keep the carpenter bees away?
Windows Down!
I have lived in the log home for 20 years and done all the maintenance myself. Whoever you get, make sure they check for water damage anywhere and make certain there isn’t gaps between the chinking in the logs. Water is your worst enemy like any home

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Missing you my great friend.
Going back 25-30 yrs when I was in commerical painting business.
Had some log homes, one was Dr Terry Holdridge’s house and office on Hwy 81 N coming into Anderson, and Dr Holdridge had something he had our guys put in the stain/sealer to help with them. Can not recall what it apparently worked very well. Used it on any log home I estimated from that time on however I pretty much stayed away from residential side (damn tight wads that just want dirt cheap price and stuff not done correctly )
Wife and I LOVE a log home but the maintenance (after seeing what all we had to with those ) kind of steered me a way.
Timberman, beautiful place there.
Plus You are using someone that knows what they are doing, makes a huge difference
