Dabo addressed questions about not getting a single player from the portal yesterday and he
said something like, "they have to like us too, we looked at a few but they have to want to come here too"
Basically, he offered a few but apparently they didnt want to play for the 7th place ACC dynasty.
Only four colleges did not get a transfer from the portal, Climp5in, Air Force, Army and Navy and the last three are not allowed

Clemson joined Army, Navy and Air Force as the four Bowl Subdivision programs to not land a transfer in the 2024 cycle.

The problem is the three service academies don't take transfer. The Tigers can.

Coach Dabo Swinney attempted to add an offensive lineman during the winter cycle, pursuing four of them, but all chose different schools. Clemson lost 10 players in the winter cycle, including starting wide receiver Beaux Collins and defensive back Andrew Mukuba, and two underclassmen in the spring.

I think this is my favorite criticism of Dabo. “We” criticize the pay for play, NIL, Transfer portal culture, and a person in a position of influence actually puts their money where their mouth is, and that gets criticized. I think all the talk of Dabo being fake is surely dead. He recruits young men, sticks to his word, raises and graduates those young men, and wins a metric F ton of football games. As a graduate, I’m pretty proud of the whole thing.

I think it clearly shows that y'all can’t stop worrying about what Dabo is doing instead of worrying about your own teams issues. Hope y'all don’t raise your kids to jump ship when times get tough so they get playing time. Theee is more to life than just football it just happens to be a sport that teaches a lot of life lessons and now that is gone do to the parents raising their kids with participation trophies and when they cry and don’t get their way the parents do whatever they can for them so they never fail! And IMO which is hard for y'all to understand that it’s MINE what Dabo does outside of football with academics and life is real important and you see the players that were hanging from stop signs smoking dope and beating the shit out of the Coots have molded into great fathers and humans. Dabo is doing it for the right reasons I believe and he’s not the only coach out there like that he’s just one that has been successful and now he’s taken a step back and people want to bash him. But the problem is people are pissed because he wont change for them. And that’s what wrong with the world today and people like yall!

Thank God, St Dabozo is putting the "molding of men" before winning games. Haven't seen the NCAA rankings of "making men and great fathers" come out yet, so I can't speak of how he compares to others and I am pretty sure you can't either.

and if players left for "more playing time", you'd assume the ones that are playing are better skilled?

This sounds like you are mad at him over a bet or something? I could honestly care less if he wins another game or not did I used to yeah for sure. But when I realized I was investing to much time on a bunch of 18 year olds and a man that’s a millionaire and I have no control over I decided to be smart about it and let it go. I’ve learned to invest in myself and my son that plays football. So for you to sit here and keep worrying about Dabo and what they are doing and letting it affect you so much I’d give it a try and maybe invest in the things you can control because it’s definitely not Clemson football or the problems you got going on down there in Columbia. Hey look at the bright side at least your other team the Tarholes are still in it in baseball!
