When will dove season start this year? Monday 9/2/2024?

Just looked at the calendar and September 1st is a Sunday. Labor Day is Monday the 2nd.

I have something in the back of my mind about the first Saturday in September.......
When will opening day be?

Yup, monday Sept 2nd.

Always the same. 12:00 start on first Saturday of September or Labor Day. Whichever comes first.

They can't open it up on Sept 1st. The flood warnings will still be in effect,.....in the upstate.
