    My Grandfather broke his hip at 90. Usually a death sentence or a year to live. at 95 hes still doing good. Hope yalls recover goes as smoothly.

    Our (mine and Luvin' Labs) grandmother broke her hip on her 90th birthday. She was an old battle axe...bounced back and damn near lived to 100.

    Prayers up. If it means anything, pain mgt for these (regional blocks) has come a long way, and once the surgery is done. pain should be much improved regardless. I’ve been in on hundreds of these cases, they are nearly all high risk, elderly, and many if not most have dementia. They can and do recover very well. Prayers on top of all that!

    She got up this morning and took a few steps with the walker. So far, so good I guess.
