Default Parents with kids in Middle Schools

If you have kids in middle school PLEASE be aware of some of the books in the school Library’s.

Ask for a list of books that are there or most districts will post it on their web sites

Lot of books that , in my opinion , are PURE pornography and leaning toward the “non traditional “ forms of sex

I realize kids have internet access but these books should not be in public school libraries

Google “All Boys aren’t Blue” , read about this on FITS and about crapped a brick reading excerpts from it

Apparently school librarian’s are a very “liberal group” and they slide these books in

My opinion if it is something your child could not watch on TV then it should not be in school libraries . Seems like a pretty simple method of determining what we should make available for our teens.

To me the middle school age is very impressionable age

The group that backs this is VERY well funded and most school districts try to not make an issue but just “handle it “

My opinion the best way to deal with it is KNOW who is your local school board member and talk with them about it

PM me if you have any questions.

Solid advice, other than what Trump said about the board of education if he get re-elected. I like it, and basically the only way we will root this evil out!

    I can't find the clip.

But he says we need 1 chair, 1 desk, and their job is to make sure everyone speaks English. Can we start there? I think we should start there. Everyone should speak English. That is the only job that person will have to make sure everyone speaks English. Other than that, we will have no other department of education.

Good heads up. It's a tough proposition to send kids to a re-education camp and be able to combat all the ways they will be programming them. Like playing whack-a-mole.

I have young kids, but not at the middle school age yet. Unfortunately, I think we need to educate our children at an earlier age of these things. Schools and kids tv shows are pushing an agenda. I think parents rely on the education system too much for discipline/morals and quickly throw an iPad in front of their kids as a pacifier

Personally for me, I’d rather them hear right from wrong with my explanation prior to exposure. In example, cuss words. I have explained to them what they are and what they mean. Once your kids are of reading age they will be exposed. I see plenty of F Bidens on the back of vehicles.

Lastly, get your kids out in nature. They will understand right from wrong and see God’s work. It will only reinforce their beliefs and self confidence. Just my opinion maybe I’m off but we’ll see! Regardless it is extremely concerning the path we are on.

Hell, our hands are full with test scores, teacher shortages, discipline and school/student safety and now you having to spend lot of efforts on this

Just figured parents need to at least be aware of things

    Mine do
At least 1 she is on a reading team.

Fortunately she enjoyed reading bible related books.
My wife or I go with her to check books out to be sure what she is getting into.

No drag time story hour that I’m aware of at the local library or we have managed to miss the advertisements.

In my opinion, the library associations, SC for Ed, etc. are trying to get the uneducated and/or unaware to be emotionally involved by calling it a “book ban”. They use similarities of school boards removing books like “all boys aren’t blue” from libraries is comparable to Nazi Germany. They then start questioning exerts out of the Bible, the Quran, etc. as comparable context to question if those should be removed as well in efforts to try and prove a point. What they don’t understand is that religious works are protected under the first amendment so the can piss up a rope on that hill.

In reality, budget provisos pass by our legislators, have specific caveats regarding things like sexually explicit material, CRT, etc. That funding is contingent on them not being in the school.

Books that get on the shelves in public libraries to my understanding are selected from an approved list by the library association. How some of this literature gets on the approved list in the first place I will never understand. When a School Board acts and removes the book, such as the one referenced in this thread, the reality is, it’s not being banned it’s just simply not being provided to the means of public education at the expense of taxpayer dollars.

I’m neck deep in it first hand

Bad enough our insurance rates are so high, what with all their advertising & sponsoring.
Obviously not everyone works strictly for their employer during business hours.
