Has anyone other than me lost a bunch of them this week?

Nope. They left a month ago.

I never saw them in any solid numbers at my normal areas this year.
I lost 4-5 hundred 10 days ago.

I had more than i had seen in a while at my place this past Sunday morning. Lancaster County. No clue what this storm will do to them or if they already hauled ass ahead of it. Not sure they will be able to avoid this one though, regardless of where they go.
Our small outfit in the PeeDee went from ~200 to ~50 sometime during the week between Saturday, 30-December and last Saturday, 6-January
Historically storms like this taketh away more than they giveth. I expect next Saturday to be slim pickings
is it just me, or does this happen every year?
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
They've vanished in my neck of the woods. Last year was the best season I've ever had as far as numbers go and this year has been one of the slowest. High water has made it tough.
The wuhan bird flu is chopping at the wood ducks and scissor lips here in sumter

Woodies follow the floodwaters. No ducks like a fall in water level.
We shot a banded woody yesterday on a beaver pond in Florence..
It was 4 yers old and banded in Louisanna.
Either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.
Havent seen the numbers that I have in years past in the forest. Never showed up around us.

Put out more corn and you will have more ducks. At least that’s what I hear.
True
Unfortunately, it's not that simple. Sometimes migratory birds do things we don't understand, like just pick up and leave a perfectly suitable food source.

Pretty Cool.
I’ve lost mine as well had a couple hundred and last hunt we did probably saw 20.

"I'm just a victim of a circumstance"
Since my December birds left, I need some January ducks!
