A buddy of mine shared an inherited river house with siblings. His sister took a turn staying there one weekend and filled the fireplace with his fat wood stash and nearly burned the house down.

My wife has deemed this one untouchable. It's safe for a decade or two anyway, only cause I've got plenty more...

Found a tree about 20" in diameter and 40' long. Solid lighter. I'll be set for quite a while.

I tore down an old barn on my place. Was constructed of heart pine.........The boards I didn't re-use made great kindling.........On the boards I did reuse. I had to use Cut Nails or predrill. If I tried to use round nails it would usually split.

I built a bunch of rabbit boxes out of old barn heart pine. Rabbits loved them.
