    Default Bear Creek Arsenal?

Looking at a .350 legend upper for my kid to shoot, but was wondering if anyone on the brain trust has any real world experience with BCA. Some pretty mixed reviews on them.

Not known for their quality. Most guys get one because they are cheap. Later they replace it.
I would not advise you to get one.

I have a 300BO upper that I got from them a while back for some stupid-cheap price. (It's running a bargain PSA BCG.)

Granted, the handguard isn't the greatest, but it serves its purpose. The screws were barely hand tight, but you'd think they used 500# torque on the barrel nut.

Having said that - it shoots just fine. For the price, it's extremely difficult to beat.

I have a couple uppers, don’t shoot them a lot but they are a decent bang for your buck.

I have a BCA 350 legend upper for several years now and it’s worked perfectly, would buy again.

We have a 308 and 6.5 creedmore uppers with PSA lowers. They’re mated well and shoots pretty darn straight. Both uppers have long barrels which are nice. Pretty good value and shoot well for us out to 200 yards. We’re not long distance shooters.

I’m assuming recoil is mostly nadda? Having a hard time deciding between one of these uppers or a Mossberg patriot bantam in .350.

CVA scout. Very accurate. Awesome trigger. Nice, short. Unless I have a 200+ yard shot, it’s my go to.

I would 100% go that route for him. I’ve got one in a .44 that I love.

But he’s still too short for one. The LOP on the compact is still like 13”. He’s more like 10.5” or 11”.

I’m going to set the AR at 12” and see how he handles it. That Mossberg Bantam in .350 will go down to 12”. I’d rather him have a single shot or bolt gun, but, I don’t mind just loading one at a time in the AR either.

    Got ya.

They are hard to find, but they used to make a Ruger American Ranch compact in 350. I bought one for my dad a few years ago. Same as the Scout, very accurate.
