    Saw some reports that a vessel is on fire in Charleston harbor and people are being pulled from the water ?

    I hope everyone is being rescued and are safe.
    The Bridget vessel is on fire. People being pulled from the harbor. Cobbs vessel.

    One person in the water. It was shallow for them though.

    Quit putting turbo chargers on diesels. Problem solved.

    Yup. Only onboard fire I have been on the turbo got so hot it ignited the damn asbestos covering 10 miles off Hatteras. Found a whole new amount of respect for captaining that day. All he saw from the bridge was a tiny drop in oil pressure...

    My Detroit's are naturally aspirated, glad they don't have turbos. They will run forever. 44 years old 3700 hrs and running beautifully.
