I swear half the guys in my dorm at PC had a gun of some sort, either in their room or in their vehicle. I walked past professors in the parking lot carrying a shotgun in a case with no eyebrows raised. That was the late 80's though.

The good ol' days. I had two shotguns and a .270 in my little 7th floor balcony dorm at Mississippi State that I shared with a libtard freakazoid and his libtard-on-steroids girlfriend, and no-one ever batted an eyelash. I have no idea if there were rules against it, but even if there was a rule, greater than 50% of the folks in that dorm were breaking it, and no one would have ever said a word about it. I'd ride the elevator down with my shotgun slung over my shoulder, walk to my car in the lot across the main campus street from the dorm, and go try to kill some squirrels. Try that today, and you'd be lucky to make it to the back of the squad car alive.
