I tried every method and solvent soak in this thread (and more) without success a few years ago when my choke got stuck. This got my choke out in 5 seconds. 2th, I'll mail you the tool if you want to try it.

Drop it off at my house on your way to work tomorrow. I won’t get the choke out, but I’ll keep it as a spare barrel for my blue receiver a400 should I ever need it.

Not much help but I have 2 870s that are permanently modified choke. I tired soaking for weeks, freezing, heating, big wrenches etc and couldn’t get them to move. Broke a regular choke wrench and messed up some big ass choke tool I tried to use also.
I Just shoot them like they are now. With My newer gun(s) I take the choke out after every use and clean/grease the threads. Lesson learned.

Pretty solid advice. William Lambert is a great gunbuilder/smith.

I have a dedicated turkey gun William built and knocked out of the park . Totally satisfied.

P blaster. Spray it and soak it. Take your time.

I picked up a gun from Barron's that had a stuck choke that no one could get out. Got it cheap for this reason.

Anyone wanna bet he cross threaded the choke putting it back in? Hasn't hit a bird since then...

I told you I would grab it on the way through and bring it back on the way back. 72 hour turn around ain't bad!

I wouldnt be shocked if it isnt melted plastic based off it being off recently. You probably didnt have it all the way down and the plastic bleed in behind the threads and bonded.

If that is the case the oil will not help, but the heat will.
    Yup, he's crazy...

You’re a dentist, act like one and buy a new barrel.

Just because he is a dentist does not mean he is incompetent
